Custer County has renewed the Burn Ban for Custer County beginning at 12:00 a.m., March 19, 2018, for fourteen (14) days.
Court House Security
Custer County Courthouse Security assures that the courthouse is a secure environment for both county employees and the citizens who conduct business at the courthouse. Employing modern scanning and surveillance equipment, the security staff monitors every part of the courthouse and secures the entrances into the courthouse. On an average day, the staff checks in close to 350 people. In addition to transporting prisoners from the jail to the courthouse they are also in charge of courtroom surveillance and accompany approximately 180 prisoners per month in court.
